I had an excellent experience at Sunshine Spa. The masseuse did a fantastic job and paid great attention to my comfort throughout the session. When did leaving a tip become a requirement. Don’t get me wrong, I am a person to leave a tip but due to unfortunate circumstances and not working for 3 months, I was only able to pay for the service alone. I was so happy to be able get a massage but after the massage the masseuse and the receptionist argued with me saying that I was required to leave a tip. I told them I didn’t have it at the moment and they spent 5 mins going back and forth with me saying that she makes her living off of tip. After paying 113 dollars in service, why are you arguing with me. It’s very upsetting that in 2025, places like these don’t understand that people sometimes don’t have the extra to give. So sad, never going back!

The massage therapists tailor intensity from deep tissue to lymphatic light drainage and very knowledgeable/intuitive to anatomy and associated muscle groups that require attention. My daughter and I love this place and I refer to my patients regularly to the Sunshine Spa in Potomac.
